River Oaks Hospital is a 110-bed acute care facility owned by Health Management Associates, Inc. The hospital is located in Flowood, Mississippi with residential population just over 5000 people, its daytime population estimates at 25,000 and still growing due to the job base of our city.
Included in the major service lines of the facility are: Therapy Solutions, Bariatric Surgery, Women’s Services including maternity services and digital mammography, and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy Wound Healing Center.
River Oaks Hospital Emergency Department is a Level IV trauma center, which sees approximately 12,000 patients per year. The Surgical area is made up of seven suites and is able to accommodate all major service lines. There is an eight bed Intensive Care Unit. Inpatient and outpatient dialysis services are also available.
River Oaks Hospital is fully licensed by the State of Mississippi, approved as a Medicare and Medicaid provider and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
