Your physician, a member of River Oaks Hospital's medical staff, must make the arrangements for your admission. When applicable, pre-admission tests may be completed prior to the day you enter the hospital.
Patient registration works hard to make your admissions process quick and easy. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. - 5 p.m. At other times, you will be admitted through the Emergency Department. When hospitalization is no longer required, you doctor will write an order for your discharge. Your doctor and/or nurse will give you home care instructions if needed.
If you have questions about your diet, activities, medications, etc., please be sure to ask at this time. Once all release requirements are complete, you will be accompanied to the exit and your vehicle.
