River Oaks Hospital's emergency department is staffed 24-hours each day by emergency physicians and nurses. The department is a nine-bed unit that provides emergency care for all ages. Patients also have 24-hour access to River Oaks Hospital's operating suites in the event of a surgical emergency.

Additionally, the emergency department operates a four-bed Fast Track that is open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. Fast Track is staffed by a nurse practitioner and skilled nursing staff to treat patients with minor healthcare concerns.
